From Your Pastor

Hello there, and welcome to the Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church website. 

For first time visitors, you will be able to learn much about Jarvis Church: its people, its activities, its mission, and its outreach to the community of downtown Greenville, North Carolina.  For those already familiar with us including Jarvis members, you will find here regularly updated information about worship times and the schedule of weekly activities.  A schedule of Common Lectionary readings for each week of the Christian year and an archive of past sermons is offered for your devotional practice, not to mention audio files of musical offerings.

Most important, I personally hope that, if you are not already familiar with our wonderful Christian community, that this website will inspire you to want to learn more!  Come to Jarvis Memorial and worship with us!  Be assured you will always find a warm welcome!
