David A. Strickland became Jarvis Church's Adminstrative Assistant on March 3, 2008. Born and raised in Greenville, he holds a BA in History from CatawbaCollege (Salisbury, NC - Go Cat-U Indians Go!!!) and an MA in American History from Western Carolina University (Cullowhee, NC). David lives in Farmville, enjoys playing golf, reading, painting, and making a horrible racket with his trombone. He considers his fiancé, Katherine S. Bray, to be "his best critic, most ardent supporter, and truly better half". Among his other tasks here at Jarvis, David is responsible for publishing the church's newsletter and bulletins and asks that no one hesitate for a moment to contact him if they have any concerns, criticisms, or complaints with either of these publications.
